The consultancy, design, development and implementation of a new identity and re-brand for London Fire Brigade and London Fire & Emergency Planning Authority included a modular system for signage and wayfinding that could be easily implemented in all 112 borough stations and administration buildings – for the public, staff, community safety and direction.
The result was a clear solution using a variety of signage types designed specifically for each appropriate use. A robust off-the-shelf was implemented – one where parts and information could be easily updated and changed. To support the implementation a fully detailed guidelines manual was written and distributed to all members and stakeholders involved.
