Falmer House is a significant building located on the campus grounds at The University of Sussex. Designed by Basil Spence and an exemplar example of modern Brutalist architecture, the building was been awarded Grade 1 status in 1993 being of ‘exceptional interest’. Commissioned by the Students Union to create new wayfinding and signage around the building that adhered to their new identity, the project required listed building sensitivities and the need to clearly direct and inform students, staff and visitors around a fairly complex building. Fabrication and installation by Standard 8.
