Designed by the award-winning Architecture 00, this 5-storey, 114,000 sq. ft. powerhouse blends ambition with adaptability, offering room for 600 workers and a dynamic mix of uses. Inside and out, the space hums with energy; from vibrant retail and food spots to a lively event hall, flexible serviced workspaces, and 47,000 sq. ft. of striking Grade A office space.
At the heart of the scheme is connection – between people, places, and nature. A lush roof terrace crowns the building, landscaped with trees, shrubs, and greenery that spill over balconies in custom planters by The Urbanists bringing a calm, living rhythm to the urban skyline.
The wayfinding was designed to support intuitive movement across this complex, multi-zoned environment, helping users orient themselves quickly while echoing the building’s distinctive character. The scheme leans into a ‘soft industrial’ aesthetic, using a distinct modern and architecturally informed typeface to create a clear, confident visual language. Pastel tones were introduced to gently distinguish Welsh and English, providing clarity without visual noise. The design culminates in a bold, illuminated external sign; making the building’s presence known from the street with unmistakable clarity.
